Best usb cable under 50.

I can't say about speaker cables, but when it comes to carrying digital information, like USB cables, they should all perform the same.

This may not in fact be wrong, but do you not understand the fundamental difference between a USB cable and speaker cable?

They cost different amounts because clever and very sneaky people are able to word advertising in a way as not to upset the standards agencies, and more importantly convince ignorant people that they will perform differently, when in fact the free grey or black one you probably have will do an identical job to one that costs a mint.

Speaker cable is different as it is electrical, although the differences to be gained between good £2 a metre and £1000 a metre are at best, slight. So much so that a million dollar offer from James Randi has never been taken up.

I wonder why?

Yes. Badly phrased on my part. USB is indeed electrical. But the electrical properties are not important so long as the USB cable is to spec (ie can deliver a USB signal)

Yep, 'fraid so. And it damages your credibility in relation to analogue cables also.

in your head yes. Just nothing to do with cable altering the sound. Maybe I should start selling audio enhancement pills, as I'd be willing to bet that people hear differences
