Best Surround Amplifier for Stereo and Upconversion

Hi. I would like to know wich amplifier you recommend to me. It has been very hard, as I want 3 things:

- Upconversion of all signals to 1080

- Great stereo quality (very hard to find)

- Under 400 £

Think you need to spend a little bit more to get very good stereo sound as well, try the Onyko 875. Still a few around, excellent in all respects.

Ok. Even spending a little bit more, let's say 600, what do you recommend?

I listened to the Yamaha 863SE at the weekend and tested it with CD's. It sounded fantastic.
