Best Connections into an older (Scart only) TV?

I've got a 6 year old Loewe Aconda TV - which only has Scart inputs in the back - so which is going to be the best connection (and hence cable) from a DVD player?

Scart to Scart, S-Video to Scart, Progressive to Scart etc??

It depends whether it can accept a progressive signal via Scart, which is unlikely. Best to stick with the Scart to Scart, and make sure you've selected RGB in the output menu of whatever you're feeding it with. Most DVD players, for example, allow you to send composite or S-video down a Scart, and if you're doing so you're not getting the best of even this older TV
