This is NOT some great "deal." That pricing has been the same for months. I've been watching and the only 'deals' with these TVs involved gift cards from Newegg. If LG ever *actually* drops prices below the stratosphere, I'll be first in line to pick up a 77".

With CES coming in the first week of January, I would wait first to see what improvements LG are making in their 2022 lineup. I suspect we'll see the C2 (or whatever it gets called) gets the EVO panels currently used by G1 models and maybe not a lot else? In that case, I'd happily go for the C1.

However, if there are GENUINE step changes to processing higher frame rates coming in the newer models then you might be better off waiting until they are launched, reviewed, and hit the market in the late Spring.

As an aside, it's about time the ethernet port was updated to gigabit.
