Best AV receiver (under £350) for use with PS3/XBOX360 & Full HD LCD TV

Onkyo 605 costs 400,but it depends on what speakers are you using?

I have a Sony STR DG910 which sounds brilliant through kef 3005.The amp was less than £300 I use it with my PS3, Sky HD and Sony 46W2000.

I was just about to post a comment that someone else had suggested to me the Sony STR DG910.
By the sounds of it Davey23 you thoroughly recommend it?

How do you have your PS3 connected with the DG910?
Is it just connected via HDMI or do you need an optical connection for the audio? (Bit of a noob)

With regards what speakers I have, they're an old set of mission ones (not sure what model but quite old) I managed to get them off my Dad when he upgraded his system some time ago. I didn't really intend on replacing them.

I know What Hi Fi said the Onkyo TX-SR 505 is the best AV receiver under 300 quid, which would leave youa bit of money to play around with. Say, for example, if you needed to buy some optical cables to connect your PS3 up.

You can get it here for 249 quid, and even get a choice of silver or blank finish! I think i'm gonna try and get the black version after the money sucking experience that xmas is.
