Best 40 inch TVs

I am looking to purchase a 40 inch tv to replace an ageing 32 inch Sony. I don't mind spending a bit of money to secure a tv at the higher end of the scale. I'm currently considering the Samsung H7000, currently £800 in John Lewis. Can anyone offer any thoughts on this model or suggest any alternatives? The tv will mainly be used for movies, sports and normal tv programmes. Any help and suggestions would be greatfully received.

Samsung H7000 is Samsung's current flagship 1080p flat TV. It's a brilliant TV, I believe it to be the best 1080p flat TV in the market today (if you disregard OLED):
