thinking of adding a beresford tc-7510 dac to my system. can anyone tell me what difference it will make, i also hear they take a bit of running in. your views grately appreciated

With that player, I don't think it would make that much difference. On the other hand, if you have a PC, Laptop or other digital source you want to use (Airport Express, say), then it almost certainly will.
I wouldn't bother either; that is probably a step too far for the Beresford I think. The Marantz is an excellent player, certainly capable of holding more than its' own at the price point. You'd also lose the SACD capability through the B-DAC too incidentally.
