Hi all,

Just wondering what you guys are using for your bedroom hifi set up. My wife is against of having big boxes of hifi in the bedroom, hence I settled with a Tivoli Audio set up + iPod dock + MF XCANV2 headphone amp.

That is very nice, I think I should get a headphone amp for the bedroom....

I am more proud of my bedroom set-up than the lounge! I started by waiting until the other half was out for the day and managed to hide my newly redundant Philips all in one home cinema system in the bedroom. Front speakers went under the chest of drawers and wardrobe (there is about a 4 inch gap under each) and the rears and sub went under the bed, nothing was visible apart from the amp/dvd unit under the TV.

Since then I found some Monitor Audio speakers from an old i-deck ipod dock on ebay (hi-fi dealer selling them on in 3s - odd number - got two lots for £40) and the improvement was amazing! I'm looking out for a slimline Denon or Pioneer amp form ebay after Christmas to keep up with the speakers.

My xbox is in the bedroom so I actually get chance to play on it (don't get full reign in the lounge often!) and it is an amazing improvement over the TV speakers, decent for music too. There is no point in Photos as nothing to see!

Nice one abeddow. The mrs has always been against having a TV in the bedroom but for the past few months, I managed to slowly convinced here that it will be much more convenient to watch late night movies in the bedroom rather watching it downstairs. So I started off by setting up my previous Samsung 40" LED TV with just a Pioneer upscaling DVD player. But then last week, I managed to get a second hand satellite decoder and slipped it in the room as well. Now, apart from the Tivoli Audio set up, we have satellite and DVD in the bedroom 🙂. Although, the TV is mainly dominated by 3 year old son, watching Thomas and Friends on satellite. Hahahha.
