just bought one of these blu ray players..

then noticed it doesn't have 24fps playback..

my old player a sony bdp-s500 did ..

have i gone backwards with quality but forward with other features ?

I'd be willing to bet quite a lot of money it DOES have 24p playback. It's the BDP-S380 incidentally, Argos' listing is incorrect.

whoops missed the s off that second post..

it just doesn't say it has on any of the tech specs i've seen.

doessay 24fps on the s480 and s580

[edited by mods - house rules. And yes, the s380, which we review in latest issue, is 1080/24 - tech specs on Sony site have been wrong before...]

I've got the S370 and it HAS it, so yours does have it too!

Just go to the menu and do some searching...
