Yes, I saw raiders of the lost ark a couple of weeks ago and it looked fantastic, last crusade should look just as good!

Just a shame they missed out Temple of Doom in HD, too - OK, it's the worst of the three, but at least show them all in HD...

I take it back.
Although the i button says DS, the amp says it's DD.

Didn't look/sound very good from where I was sitting - a 'technical fault' meant BBC HD wasn't available (everything else, including HD channels, worked fine). Much mutterings in our household re Freesat/Sky HD conspiracy theories....

Are you aware that "Wild China" is repeated on BBC HD on Mondays at 9pm? Last weeks looiked absolutely stunning.

I do find it somewhat odd that with a Sky HD base of around half a million potential viewers plus Virgin media and Freesat there is still no dedicated BBC HD listing in the "Radio Times".

That's the worsht Shean Connery Accshent I think I've ever heard. Leave it to the exshperts, pleashe.

I caught a few minutes of an Indy film on BBC the other week (Freeview) and it was in 4:3 format. Couldn't watch it.

My TV changed the format from the 4:3 up to almost super zoom and I have to say that I have watched all three on the BBC Freeview and each of them look cr*p on an HD screen but not in HD !!!! Even my wife commented on how bad they looked and she doesn't normally notice these things!! My BBC picture is usually cracking so it must be the source material.

Really enjoyed this last night. As t BBC HD is located in the "other channels" section (as I am in Ireland), I could not record the movie onto the sky-box. I hope Sky sorts this out.
