b&W HTM61

Is it a good center channel? and does it match the B&W 683 or what is the alternative?

I read a review that didn't rate it very high but recommended the 685 as the better center. has anyone compared them?even with the HTM62.

The HTM61 is the centre to get with those 683's, i had it in my last system and its great, although its a big old beast so make sure you can accomodate it

Thanks I can fit it in, But it seems the design of the center seems to get the disapproval from 2 reviewers So I wasn't sure if I should get a different center. to match with it. It seems it is a vertical design but I will have it on its side like most centers.

I am not sure what to do as if you look at the other centers it goes back to the regular design of 2 mid base on each side of the tweeter

vs 1 mids on left and 1 bass on right of the tweeter.

ive got the 683 front ds3 rears pv1 sub i tested both the 61 & 62 centre channel speaker

and i must say the htm 62 sounded better to me

i would try both and see fot yourself which is best
