Hey, guys. I recently brought a pair of 685 s2 to upgrade from my very old but trusty 601's. I'm currently using the cc.6 centre I was pairing with my old speakers but am looking to upgrade. My question is whether I should go with the HT61, or the HT62?. I am planning to add 683's into my system at some point in the future, but that will be down the line somewhat. I'm a massive music head so my primary objective here is to get the best sound I can musically, whilst at the same time still getting clear, un-muddied dialogue in movies. Budget is a factor, so if the HT62 will serve the purpose for both I would be happy with that. Cheers guys.

In truth only you can decide,if possible visit a dealer and hear both,I'm sure the 62 will be fine, the problem is will you want to upgrade to the 61 later, which becomes expensive.*diablo*

Josh,

I have a B&W 685 Theatre with the ASW610 subwoofer and I am really delighted with my system and the 685s are fabulous with music. I even tried them with Arcam hifi and wow they sounded fantastic so If the 685 S2s are even better you are in for a treat. I would go with HT62 as they are essential for dialogue and match your proposed speaker set up.

Best wishes

Chris
