Hi everyone, i've just purchased a pair of cm7 speakers and are looking to buy a cd player and amplifier to go with them! could someone please advise me on which would best suite the cm7 speakers?

just to elaborate, the cm7's have a lot of bass, the cyrus is much cleaner on bass and brighter - not to say the cyrus is bright
Having spent an 18 month period living with cm7s I would have to disagree with the cyrus recommendation. The cm7s are fantastic speakers, but definately need very careful matching with the electronics. The bass is not quite as prominent as the 600 series IMO. But the top end is very detailed and can be too bright if not matched with warm electronics. I would recommend NAD for a budget amp or Naim if you can spend more. These would work nicely.
