I have finally figured out the winning formula for Hifi and or home theatre. The winning formula is the same as in formula 1. In formula 1 its not just about the car or driver or tyres but a combination of the team aspect which includes car, driver, aerodynamics, tyres, support tem, etc.
The best amp/ receiver will work up to a point with bad speakers, or player, etc. The best speakers wont give you the best response with a plonk amp/receiver. A good amp can make bad speakers sound better also but nothing beats a combination of good speakers, player, speakers put together.
I've had a killer amp with not so bad speakers and I was so happy. I upgraded my speakers to very good speakers and all my music now sounds like I've never heard it before. Interconnects have a big role to play as they transmit all the current and signals but Im still not convinced biwiring speakers and that double digits speaker cables are better than not biwiring and normal cables.I actually refuse to believe that.
