Hi ,this is my first post although I have been on the site for many years & into audio all my life (too long to mention)
My question is if ,like me you have built up a stereo hifi sytem that you love over many years and want to incorperate or upgrade a home cinema amp
and you will want to utilise your existing speakers as the front AV pair you will need a pre-out from the AV amp to input into your hifi amp.

This seems to be becoming a much rarer feature in AV design .

Has anyone else noticed this trend?

Thanks

Pre-outs tend to come with higher priced (and therefore spec) receivers.

Look at the Denon 2800H Vs the 3800H for example.

Pretty sure it has been like this for many (many) years although it's been a good few years since I combined a home cinema and hifi in this way.
