Another thing that’s annoyed me is that you have to get a text or call on your mobile now to log in! My mobile phone is hardly ever charged though.

That's because you haven't used PayPal for a long time. I don't have such issues. My fingerprint is my PayPal password. So it's super easy to login.

I have been using PayPal loads of times recently though. I don’t like eBay either anymore so it makes sense to do away with PayPal for me.

Personally I wouldn't buy much these days that was second hand and didn't have some of Paypals advantages to the buyer.

I find Paypal handy for various websites, but I see that eBay are encouraging sellers to get settlements direct to their bank account. Maybe their long ties are unravelling, or ebay wants more of the fees?
