AVI dealers in London?

Hi all,

I'm in the market for small bookshelf/standmounts and was recommended the AVI Neutron in a different thread. Indeed they seem to get great reviews in these forums and on the Internet generally. So I'd like to find a showroom in London where I can listen to them next to Dali Lektor 1, B&W 685/686 and Monitor Audio's bronze and silver standmount speakers. AVI seems to be hard to come by though... Any recommendations where I should go?

Sevenoaks looks to be the one for AVI, B&W, Dali and MA. Whether they're all in stock is another matter.

Try Sevenoaks Holborn, which is where I got mine, and they had all the others you mention last time I looked. Though not sure I ever saw another pair of Neutrons come in after that though!

AVI site says Sevenoaks are AVI dealers. The Sevenoaks site doesn't include AVI in their list of manufacturers though.

I say this with the utmost of respect for AVI i really do, but their stockist list may not be entirely accurate, so its worth checking before going anywhere. I found a dealer in northampton on their site, right near where i went to uni, and it is no longer there, i discovered on speaking to a lady on the number given. Ash did respond to my email about it very swiftly tho, gave me the details of a dealer in birmingham, and said he would get rid of the northampton dealer from the list, so credit where its due.

Not something I am selling but from the reviews of what hi fi, the general chatter on forums and reviews from elsewhere, that is a bargain

Not much luck with Sevenoaks unfortunately.. I've called them but they no longer stock AVI.

There are a few places to buy the Neutrons online, no problem there, but I'd really like to listen to them first...

Any other ideas, anyone?

I got my from Billy Vee Sound System in Lewisham.
