Bit of advice required on an AV amp. I have wired a new build with an HD lead from the lounge (where i will have the amp/sky etc) to the kitchen tv also have pre laid phono/optical leads. I was just going to get an amp with 2 outs 1 to loung tv 1 to kitchen. Today i was told to save some cash & get an amp with 1 out & use an HD splitter ? (as the 2 outs are geared for a projector).
I understand that you would have to watch the same programme on both sets... So the Q is, is it better to get an amp with 1 out & use one of these splitters ?. Will i loose any quality in the picture using one of these. Is there an amp out there with 2 outs where i could watch 2 seperate channels.
I also have freesat & freeview wired behind the kitchen tv with a L/R speaker cable wired from the AV location.
