AUTODIMMING/FLOATINGBLACKS ONE AND THE SAME.?.

Could do with some help on this one, am thinking of getting a plasma sometime in future maybe a PANASONIC txp42v20.

Can anyone explain the difference between the above,autodimming seems to be associated with led/lcd type screens and

floatingblacks with plasmas I think they are the same but could do with some advice.Should I be concerned about things like

banding/buzzing noises aswell.

Th panasonic 42V20 does give off abit of a buzz, but nothing to much to worry about.

with the others only you can tell by demoing the tv really in my opinion.
