Really confused by the Aurender ACS10 review no mention about the sound. I believe that is why it was created to sound better than a nas. I can't believe anyone would pay £7k on a music server that didn't sound any better than a £500 nas.

There are obviously some people prepared to pay this for a well sorted ripper / streamer / server

The review is a massive joke. They are connecting a server/transport that costs 7K to DACs that cost 25 times less. 25 times! Audioquest cobalt, Cambridge audio Dac100, SoundBlaster etc - really??? Who in the world would ever listen to or buy such combinations? Really a new low in audio reviews.
