audyssy sound equalizer

do thay work? ive heard good things

and(the big one)how much do thay cost?

any info on this product would be great or info on simaler sound corection equalizers

Hi,

I managed to pick up the multi-eq second hand, and think it's a great bit of kit. It especially works well if you have a difficult room set up (shape. reflections), and works across all speakers and so integrates the sub with the rest of the surround set up. I used to have the denon-avc-a1xva with integrated audyssey, but the stand alone unit offers much more tweaking of parameters and did away with the need for my velodyne sms-1 sub equaliser. It's not cheap , but it does its job very well, cheers, Tony

thanx for the reply tony.any idea who stocks them ive tried 7oaks and super fi but no luck couldnt even find any one on line.
