Just to let you all know, the long awaited Audiolab 8000AP is now on sale in the UK.

Will audiolab be releasing a "modern day" version of the TMA AV32 and an HD player?

Would be great to have 4 in / 2 out HDMI, processing of all the Dolby & dts HD sound formats, a couple of 5.1 or 7.1 inputs and the ability for the units to "talk" to each other?

I believe it has been reviewed, but not published, because there were still outstanding licensing issues - dolby, DTS, etc.

Since it is now on sale, one assumes these have been resolved, and therefore WHF can publish their review - next month maybe??

Further to the WHF review, I spoke to Audiolab today (since I am considering buying an 8000AP) and they confirmed that the 1080p/24fps pass through issue, that WHF identified, has been fixed through a software update and an HDMI firmware update.
