Hello, I am looking to purchase a new set of headphones, and I was hoping I could get some advice from the knowledgeable members of whathifi.com

I bought a pair of M50X's last year. Best pair of headphones I heard under £150, and I heard everything I could get my hands on to be honest. I listened to so many different pairs at diverse places like PC World/HMV/local HiFi shop/even Maplins!! But my ears are not your ears, and I wouldn't recommend buying any headphones without listening to a few different pairs. You can't buy headphones just from other people's recommendations. There's more things to consider with headphones than with any other piece of hifi, such as comfort. All you can do is use recommendations to draw up a likely shortlist, then go and listen.
