Looking for a cheap streamer for a second system. It will only be used for a few months, so I mean cheap.

Considering Arylic S10+ or the Wim Mini because they have native Qobuz and can stream Jazz24. These are the only two considerations along with cost.

Seen a number of reviews for the Wiim, but not so many for the Arylic.

Has anyone used an Arylic and if so what were your thoughts.

Thanks.

I too see very few reviews of the Arylic S10+ so in my view, unless £40 is a make or break thing, then the WiiM Mini seems a sensible choice.

I've got one and it works well, the app is more or less perfect and the setup was a doddle. It's had one firmware update since I've had it, and as a SONOS user, the fact that the update didn't break it was a novelty! I've only used it with Tidal and Spotify, not Qobuz or Jazz24, so can't comment on how well they are handled.

I've had the Wiim Pro and now use a new Arcam ST60.
The Arcam may be better, but i must admit that an important consideration is the controlling app.

The Wiim is lovely.
The Arcam app 'Music Life's stinks.

Go for the better supported unit.

I used to have the Arylic S10 - bought it a few years ago and for £50 it's pretty impressive. Nice sound quality to it, not so much info on the DAC in it, but then you can't be disappointed with it given the price. Stable app from memory, good connectivity to the BBC for radio, and fine for the main streaming services. Limited connectivity, so I can't recall how you'd hook it up. I used it with my actives, so it wasn't a problem.

Then again, the Wiim is probably the overall better buy and the app stability is excellent - frequent upgrades, and pretty seamless onto your phone.
