Sorry. To answer the questions to both your threads, yes your headphone amp will drive B&W PM1's to ear splitting levels.

Peter Hart, have you heard the PM1's yet?

I have and there's no way I'd spend £2k on them. Far too much bass distortion.

Try some Royds if you want reasonable sounding tiny speakers. Active Linn Katans are OK and inexpensive too.

Beringher A500 will drive them as well as any other amp :)

But in all honesty, stay active and do any EQ in software.

A pair Event Opals or large Genelecs will wee all over the PM1s
