Are the kef eggs 1005.2 good for music?

I am in process of selling all my speakers quad 21l,gale sub,mission surround,mordaunt short centre.

Will the kef eggs work with denon av2803 amp.?

or should i choose new boston package and maybe even bose?

There nothing special but sound ok if you use the different setting on the amp. I'm just starting to upgrade mine so my opinion is aim a little higher..

Most small lifestyle speakers won't be great with music as there are numerous compromises with speakers this small. It's very important to have a seamless crossover point between the mid/bass unit and the treble unit to reproduce music properly, which is where these types of speaker systems usually fall down. With movies, it's less important.

would love to aim higher,maybe next step up in kef series?

They have to besmall and i know whatever i upgrade too i will be disapointed in the sound quality bearing in mind they have to live up to my current speakers.

For smaller speakers with better musical quality, I usually recommend Monitor Audio's Radius HD range.

Normally nearer £1k for a Radius HD set up (depending on the sub). But you can buy it inidividually and build it up over time.
