After reading the article, he has picked out points from reviews that match his narrative, not presenting the whole picture or comparing apples with apples, so ignore it as its just bilge.
The difference between OLED and QD-OLED is that the QD part helps to plug the limitations of an OLED panel, and if correctly implemented (Look at the Sony) should be better.
