Arcam r DAC a good upgrade?

I currently have an arcam dr dock as a source for a Lehmann audio black cube linear amp running sennheiser hd650 headphones. Very happy with the sound but I was wondering if I connected the dr dock to an r dac through a coaxial output would it make much improvement to the sound? A good cd transport would then be next. How much improvement will I notice, if any? thanks all
