Arcam P85 Power Amp

Hi, on the back of some previous posts, would the purchase of a P85 power amp connected to A80 amp in turn used to Bi-amp the B&W DM 603 S2 add much of a benefit to the A80 on its own at the moment and would the P85 be a correct match in gain for the A80, many thanks in advance to all who reply.

In a word, yes. My only slight reservation is the speakers. When you bi-amp you tend to acheive more [better defined] bass, and your current boxes are fairly bass heavy, so whether the speakers (and your ears) benefit or not from the additional power amp, I'm afraid only tested at home will answer that discrepency.

Yes. Better in every way. Tighter bass rather than more I would say.
