Arcam P1000 7 Channel Amplifier Vs Denon AVR-2310 Reciever Onboard Amplifier

I currently own a Denon AVR-2310 with a set of Acoustic Energy AE120 speakers which has been a brilliant system for years.

However I have come across an offer for an Arcam P1000 amplifier and I was wondering if anyone would know if this would make a noticeable improvement worth the 400 pounds for this amplifier, whilst using the Denon for pre-outs?

Also does anyone know a centre speaker that intergrates well with the AE120 and AE100s as rears? I also have a BK XLS400 Sub (Brilliant sub for anyone looking)
