After hearing both I decided on the A19 which I felt was actually more detailed.
Thanks for all yor help and PP you are so right the MA RX6s and A19 work a treat together.
With a good recording the sound is clean and detailed with a lot of well controlled bass.
Listening today to some Beerhoven amongst other things I just loved the sound.
I also bought a pair of Audio Technica headphones for when the wife doesnt want to listen and I was surprised to find that there is less bass than when listening with the speakers even though they are closed back over ear, but then they only cost £ 140.

Don't really think you can go wrong with any Arcam/MA combo. Then, of course, it comes down to budget and personal preference.
