For 2 channell you realy should be looking at stereo Amps not AV Amps.

Just cancelled that order and bought the Arcam A5Plus stereo amp. I think you are right.

You seem to like the Gap sound signature i would stick with Japanese just a thought ,you didnt like the Cambridge the arcam will have the same sound signature Gel.

just get a Japanese stereo Amp gel see how that sounds. Ive never liked the british sound signature Japanese Amps have a diffrent sound . Sony,Technics,Marantz and so on.

If you already have that amp, you don't need another. you can hook it up to your Pioneer and use it for both surround sound (Front L & R) and for stereo.
