Arcam A22

Dear all

There seem to be a number of Arcam A22s around at the moment. I haven't found many references to it on here. Have any of you heard it? What are its sonic characteristics? How does it compare to the other FMJ models? Is it worth a go?

Take a look at this www.arcam.co.uk/archive/fmj/products/a22amp.html. I think it was introduced in the late nineties, superseded by the A32. As for the sound, I'm not qualified to comment, but I know it built a pretty good reputation.

Certainly is worth a go! So I have heard, it is very similar to the A32 which superseeded it, and therefore similar to the current A38. At a good price, say under £500, it is certainly worth a try!
