i was wondering what the best way is to listen to my FLAC or other lossless files on my external HDD.
media player? bad sound (need a dac at least)and a decent media player , some suggestions?
network player like the marantz na7004 (dac and a streamer), any ideas on this?
it's really simple but i don' know why it's so hard to find the perfect awnser. some say to buy a mac mini, but i still need then a monitor and a dac.
i just want something simple and that works well, m y collection isn't that huge at the moment, so i can convert my lossless to the suitable format according to my hardware choice.
is it right to let wd live an popcorn stuff behind me? (not good in audio performence)?
about the dac: it's going to be a second hand for sure, here are my choices ( atoll dac100 third owner, avance acoustic mdx600, music fidelity vdac m2, or schiit bifrost).
or should i save for a olive 03hd for example?
