I am thinking about buying an Apple TV box, but I can't find much information about the film content that's available to rent. My main interest is in independent, European and other world cinema, rather than Hollywood blockbusters. Could anyone tell me whether this is catered for?

I think you will find your interests catered for better if you take out a Love Film subscription. It's actually quite hard to find out what's available in iTunes, but a search of the web will discover lists of movies. There are actually significantly more films on offer in the States, but they're still pretty mainstream.

I think you may be right. Even allowing for my particular tastes, I wouldn't say there's a huge selection in UK iTunes anyway. A pity, since it sounds like a great device. I presume the range will expand in time.

It is a great device, but the video content is sparse and expensive. Love watching all the HD trailers though

I have Apple TV and i find it brilliant! i am registered as a USA member although i live in the UK so i get to download / Rent blockbusters before the UK gets them! I also get them a lot cheaper at $4.99 per latest HD movie rent compared to almost the same price but in £ in the UK!

I only really watch the blockbusters though so could not really give any advice you on the movies you are looking for
