Apple have hired Tomlinson Holman of Lucas THX fame (Tomlinson Holman eXperiment). Cant wait to see what Apple have planned for him!

Just a few weeks ago on one of the major US tech sites, there was some speculation that Apple would produce their own TVs with apps et al of-course. This wouldn't be a surprise then if it were true.

Actually this scenario was put forward by a PCMag writer a short while back for a future iPhone. He was discussing this in the context of Nintendo's 3DS handheld gaming device, where he speculated that gamers would abandon it in droves if Apple released a 3D iPod touch or iPhone.

As you say, pure speculation, but not far-fetched. Also, 3DS sales have been lower than expected. Seems great though.
