Hi folks. I was drooling over some piano black GS60's in my local dealers at the weekend - considering replacing my RS6's but with the RX & BX lines having hit the streets and being such great improvements I think I'd rather wait for the GX line. Anyone have any news on when this might eventuate?

Rumour I've heard is that MA were aiming to show it at CEDIA in September this year...
And interestingly there does seem to be a rash of GS stuff being cleared out by some MA dealers at the moment, maybe in preparification for the GX imminentifying.

Reps are popping round dealers over the next few weeks and showing this new mystery range, which isn't being launched this year.

They do look sweet, now i hope they can compare to the Paradign Signatures S8'S version 3. Right now i have silver RS8's and waiting to pull the trigger on new speakers, ihope someone will have this info very soon.

May it be possible to ask if Monitor Audio are planning on bringing out a PL Rear Effects speaker, rather than using a set of PL100s?

I think if there was any plans to, they'd have done so already. If they get enough feedback from the public that some PLFX are needed, I'm sure they'd take notice....
On purely aesthetic grounds - I love the ribbon, I love the evidently magnetic attachments for the grills (no holes) and the curved cabinets mmmmmmm
But they lost the sexy bullets - I own the GS20's in piano black and dont wanna give up me aluminum bullets AND WTF is with those dodgy plinths - I hope they are prototypes - they are decidely fugly.

Yes the plinth designer should be shot!!!!! I have the RX6's and the plinth's on these look S**T too.
