Any difference?!

Hi.

Looking at getting a new TV for the bedroom and am very tempted by the Panasonic 32D25 (the set that won best 32" in last years awards). Quick question though - looking on Amazon there's also a 32D28 which is listed as the same price. The main difference, tome,is that it comes in a choice of colours and as the missus isn't particularly fussed about black and would much prefer silver, natuurally this is getting more interest than the 32D25. Is it purely a colour difference or is there something else that's changed from the D25 model?!

Thanks.

Hi sfrench,

the main difference with the D28 is that the stand allows the TV to be tilted. I've had two 32D28's both with backlight bleed in the bottom left corner. WHF also noticed this in their review of the 37" set. The backlight bleed isn't easily noticed in a bright room but very noticeable when viewing at night or in a dark room.

Thanks for the reply. Went for the new TX-L32E30B in the end. Extremely pleased with the purchase as never been a big fan of LCD screens but the quality and performance is superb so far! Luckily I'm in an area which has just turned off analogue to go fully digital and the TV has a built in Freeview HD tuner. Difference in picture quality is incredible (I don't have Sky so previously only seen HD content at friends house or in store) and shows the TV off to it's full potential.
