Hi from another new member. I love hi-fi and music (all types). My current hi-fi separates system is as follows. Sony 808es amplifier (second hand), PSP Imagine B bookshelf speakers, Sony CDP-XA5ES CD player (second hand) and a Pro-Ject deubt carbon Esprit SB turntable. My speakers are gorgeous to look at, probably the best looking pair of speakers I have ever owned but more importantly they sound fantastic. They cost me 900 quid from SevenOaks and were worth every penny I paid for them. I chose to buy a second hand amplifier because I love Sony's range of es stereo amplifiers from the 90's and the 808 is my favorite sounding. For 90's hi-fi equipment they can go for silly money but if you find one at a good price snap it up quick because you will not be disappointed as it is a fantastic sounding amplifier. The CD player I brought from a car boot sale for 15 quid which was a fantastic find as I have seen them go for silly money online. I look foward to getting stuck into the madness which is this forum. Until then and thanks for reading.
