Won avi adm9.1 with matching sub less then 1year old for 920quid.

Seller just sent me cancellation request and browsing through his feedback noticed that he has 1 negative for exactly same reason.

Now, should I leave negative feedback for this seller since he obviously doesn`t play fair?

Regards

Lazar

Well, as the pairing tend to go for £1900, he's either very keen to keep them, or should just put up a reserve price nearer the minimum amount he'd take. If you've won them though, that's a bit poor on his part. Has he said why?

Send him few questions just before paying and he said: Those questions should have been asked before ending(didnt even bother to answer them) so he will cancel transaction obviously because he`s unhappy with price. Only reason why I didnt ask it`s because never thought will win them at this price but would pay regardless.

And since he already has one neg feedback for same reasons think one more is on the way.

I'd want to know why as well. Sounds like he either didn't get as much as expected, or he's got an off-ebay deal for more (i.e. private sale or trade-in offer). If it happened to me, I personally would find it difficult to leave positive feedback unless the item in question had been stolen or destroyed... Thinking about it, even then, I'd just leave neutral feedback, as I'd find it hard to be positive about something I'd never received.

chebby:Oh well. You are doing well as top bidder so far on the WHF test pair.

LOl, I know and will have to erase my account very soon otherwise will declare bankruptcy 😉

I'd leave neutral feedback explaining that you'd won the item fair and square but then item was cancelled/withdrawn.

I would leave negative. After all if it was the other way around you would be expected to pay as you bid that price. I also believe there is some legal wording on eBay around bid being binding, not sure how enforceable this is though. Basically, he posted it on a auction site knowing the outcome could be a bid likes yours, and like another posted said, if he had a minimum price he should have set it. Very unprofessional.

Negatative, only because he has done this before so no excuse. Happened to me before too, annoyin to say the least, especially when you think you have one a bargain.

Morning all,

just checked my ebay and seller didnt bother responding but he changed his username and there is also one more neutral feedback due to seller cancelling auction after it finished.

Left negative due to all this reasons.

Cheers all
