Hello,

Which amplifier would you recommend me? The analogue Rotel RB-1070 with pre amp RC-1082 or the digital Class D Rotel RB-1092 or RB-1072 also combined with the RC-1082 pre amp ?

My current speakers are the B&W 704, but it might be that I will replace them by the B&W 802D.

Thanks.

I think if you are going to replace the 704 with 802D I wouldn't buy the Rotel as you will almost certainly need to buy another amp soon after speakers change.

Back to the question though, I prefer class A/B, Mosfet design as it seem to give me the sound I after, you might prefer different sound though.

Class D aren't digital, they are analogue switching amplifiers. For the B&W 802D I would look a lot higher, I would like something like the big McIntosh, oh nice, or Electrocompaniet would be tasty too.
