Hi,

I am looking for an integrated in the~ £ 500 / €600 price bracket to fit my Proac Tablettes Eight and CA NP30 streaming.

After some reserach I found dealers for the Japanese brands (Yamaha, Pioneer, Denon, Rotel) plus Cambridge Audio, Cyrus, Naim (?). I already have an offer for CA 651A. and Rotel RA11/12. I What do you think guys? Have you any experience with these brands with the Tablettes? Should I stick with my Denon RCD-M33 micro until ( and IF) my budget allows something better?

I tend towards Rotel because of its ability to play hiRes files, as I have a growing collection.

Auditioning is out of the question as most dealers carry only leaflets, so my decision relies on your input ...

Thanks,

The Rotel should partner fairly well. However, if you cannot audition any of these, and the Cyrus / Naim will be outside your budget new, then you might be better off buying second-hand.

I would aim for something by Creek, Sugden, Exposure, Roksan and let the NP30 deal with your hiRes files - you don't need a seperate DAC inside the amp.

Thanks.

I forgot to mention that there is virtually no second-hand market in my country ...e-bay is also very difficult due to transport (shipping) costs to my country (if the seller ships here...) , which brings the price close to the new one!

I think to go with Rotel, if anybody has any experience with the combination (Rotel RA + ProAc Tablettes)
