Amplifier CD player and Speakers

I have got 2 brands in my mind regarding cd player and amplifier and they are cyrus and roksan kandy

now as far as cd player is concerned i am thinking of going for cyrus cd8x(cannt afford the latest model)and this might get cheap on ebay.now i dont know wheather to go for cyrus 8vs2 amplifier or kandy k2 amplifier.now what hifi magazine recommends kandyk2 but some people say better to go for same brand for cd player and amplifier.so looks like better to go for cyrus amplifier.Not sure about speakers.what hifi magazine recommends B & w 685.

Any suggestions or advise

Get out there and demo the items you mention and demo them in combination if possible. Three 5-star components don't necessarily add up to a perfect system. Make a short list of a number of speakers, amps and Cd players and see what you prefer. Don't just rely on WHFSAV reviews of individual components to build a system - that's what I did when I was about 19 with my first system and was never happy with it.

This doesn't answer your question and probably just opens things up for you, but it is a more sensible approach than to say that you just want to buy 3 components and get approval from a forum.

you mean rega apollo for cd player because they were recommended.i dont know about their amplifier.which amplifier and speakers will you recommend
