Amp falling apart?

I decided to re-arrange my set up yesterday and while disconnecting the interconnects from the amp managed to pull the silver part of the positive input for the CDP out with the interconnect plug. It was a very tight neutrik one. I've retreived it undamaged, pushed it back in and there doesn't seem to be any performance issues but it comes out easily now even with a non-neutrik plugged interconnect.

Is this anything to be concerned about ? Is there anything that I can do myself to stop it from coming out? (other than cahnging cables obviously).

Any advice will be appreciated.

Old Audiolabs used, and still do, that all the time when we had them on demo - it was a case of just push it back in and carry on! you could have the phono block replaced, but there wouldn't be any advantage unless you were selling it on.
