Any plans on changing the rules on users posting equipment for sale or adding a classifieds section?

I was selling my amp recently and i know there is a user who had been trying for find one exactly like that but I couldn't alert him or point him to an auction or classifieds site as that would have been against the house rules. Also I have seen users post their used equipment elsewhere which I had wished I had seen earlier. Any help here would be beneficial for all forum members. I know maintaining a full classifieds website would be expensive but maybe a separate category where people can post alerts,etc

I would like to see the same. Could there be a section to the forum 'For sale', where an item is noted as for sale and you can find it on ebay or whatever. No selling actually takes place on the forum. It is just a means of letting other forum members know that an item is up for sale elsewhere.

I have changed my signature to reflect the new rules. I would hope nobody feels I have ever tried to push Sony products through the forum and that I've always tried to give balanced and helpful advice. Indeed I tend to avoid most TV debates for this very reason, unless I can give advice on specification/operational questions.
