Eric claptons unplugged still sounds better than most record mentioned in this thread, more open and clear sound.

Tried Joe Bonamassa live e at royal albert hall where theres a song with eric clapton further up the road, it just sounded dark and a bit dull

Placebo MTV Unplugged, but not the vinyl as the pressing is poor.

Rodrigo y Gabriella Live in Dublin and Manchester (I think) with one show on each side of a fabulous sounding record.

Someone said Eric Bibb. I have an SACD of his and it's good. Or was it dts cd.

i want more to choose from, but still in the same genre and with the good sound

Eric Bibb is well recorded, Blues and I actually like him quite a bit. Which reminds me he released his new album this year which is very good.

Also a great album by Otis Taylor released this year.

+1. Have the Otis Taylor and most of Eric Bibbs offerings 'Live at FIP' probably best to start with.

Not on tidal hifi

My apologies the original post didn't mention Tidal.

I love Kevin Mahogany's "Pride and Joy". First of all, for the music. But there's a lot of voice, acoustic instruments, percussion - the whole thing. And it's superbly recorded.

have to disapoint you, this album is not on tidal

It's on other services, is Tidal still quite limited?

No, i just use tidal because it has better sound (losless use more space than compromised mp3 in 320kb/s "spotify" )

I also use youtube but that is different since it's videos, than again, not much compare to tidal hifi since many videos are not hd or full hd on tidal

So what if it's not on Tidal, can we only listen to albums that are on Tidal? This post is about unplugged albums not Tidal. Yes Tidal has quite a few albums missing I'm finding, so best to use other services as well.

It came from the OP saying it's not on Tidal all the time. I suppose if he refuses to use anything else then it maybe relevant.

My apologies, will have to read the thread again as missed that.

If he is using Tidal as only source, he does however mention CD, I don't see the point of the original question. 🙂

Streaming on Tidal is probably not the best way to judge any of the suggestions made I feel. The CD speaks for itself on a decent set-up.

I have tidal hifi, i don't use spotify(sound quality), i do how ever live close to my local libary where they have cd's

I do have a few on cd's and lp's even when it's on tidal, like eric clapton unplugged , depeche mode black celebration, music for the masses, violator and a few more.........

If i have to listen to most of what you suggest before buying the cd or lp i use tidal, if not on tidal i try youtube.
