Hi guys

I want to use my Proac 140s as front speakers as a part of my future surround system. The problem is is that I can't afford a new Proac centre speaker and there is not that many on the 2nd hand market. I have heard that it is essential that the centre speaker matches the front speakers. The other speakers-rear and side- not so much. What I wanted to know is there any other speaker brands that produces centre speakers that will match my Proac 140s?

By the way Richer Sounds are giving discount prices on Cambridge Audio aero 3&5 speakers but I don't know if they are any good.

Thanks.

Look at used models with similar specs to the PoAc offering (impedance and sensitivity, driver sizes). Should be close enough and if it doesn't work you can probably flog it on for what you paid.

I'd agree. That or look at the Quad centre speaker as I said in other thread.
