Akg 272 HD vs. Akg 550/551

Pretty simple. I have the 550 cans, and I love the tight base, closed back open sound they have. Wondering how the 272 would sound compared to them.

Firstly the AKG K550 are amazing headphones.

The AKG 272 would need an amp to sound at their peak. They are harder to drive than the K550'S and they have far less bass than the K550.

The 272 are very neutral sounding and have a flattish tone to them.

I much preferred the K550 over them.
