Airport express streaming to dac

Just connected up AE to dac and using Airfoil to stream spotify free version, If i was to upgrade and use the "premium" service would the quality be better as its higher bitrate even though its wireless ?

Yes, the extra bitrate will give you better quality even over a wireless connection.
