Advice on which speakers for my AMP

Hi All i have a Sony STRDH800 amp and looking for a new 5.1 set up with a budget of about £400-£600

These also have to be Girl Friend friendly i have been looking at the Kef Eggs and the Morduant Short Alumni's another others i should consider??

These will be used for Movies 95% of the time

Can I suggest selling the girl friend and buying a full size set of speakers?

I am sure its not the only choice but Tannoys compliment Sony receivers very well.

I followed the advice of the previous poster and have four Tannoy floorstanders, Tannoy centre & sub.
